Rugby Expo 08 – Supported by PUMA
17 Sep 2008
Rugby Expo is delighted to have signed the sports manufacturing giant PUMA, as a major sponsor of this year’s event.
Richard Callaway, Teamsports Marketing Manager PUMA UK comments, "This is an exciting opportunity for us and will provide great exposure for PUMA within the rugby world. We are delighted to be a main sponsor and are looking forward to working with Rugby Expo and supporting the development of rugby as a global sport."
At the convention, which takes place on 17-18 November 2008 at The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, London, PUMA will supply uniforms for all staff involved in the event as part of the deal. Further to this, Rugby Expo has been granted access to PUMA’s distinguished list of rugby ambassadors, which boasts the likes of Sebastien Chabal, Olly Barkley, Matthew Tait, Paul Sackey and Schalk Burger to promote the partnership.
Justin Paige, Director Rugby Expo, said: “PUMA are a hugely reputable brand right at the top of their industry and we are thrilled to have them as an Official Sponsor of Rugby Expo. With only 2 months to go until kick off, all of our plans are coming together very well with both exhibition and delegate sales moving well – The addition of PUMA has given us an added boost ahead of the event and is a sign of the quality of people who will be attending.”
